In 2026 we’re taking a group of 39 Scouts to Kandersteg, Switzerland. We’ll be camping at the Kandersteg International Scout Centre and helping the scouts while they are meeting other scouts from across the world, learn about themselves and others and generally have an amazing time.
As a fundraiser the young people have taken on a combined Hike to Kandersteg (32 Miles each) but that seemed a bit un-impressive for us to be asking for sponsorship… So here we have the Walk/Run/Ride/Swim/Crawl to Kandersteg (And Back). 811 Miles one way or 1622 return (Each – not shared!) from Holmes Chapel scout Hut to the International scout centre.
Each leg will be recorded via Strava and the results uploaded below. The target is to get this complete before we go. Some are doing the 811, some are doing the 1622
