Bookings
For any new hires, please email vehicles@holmeschapelscouts.org.uk providing email address for lead booker and booking dates, we will set up as a user for Hallmaster which will allow you to make future bookings. All drivers must complete a form here prior to borrowing the vehicle.
Equipment
The new to us (As of 2025) minibus is a Peugeot Boxer Lightweight minibus, this means although it is rated for 17 people it is a 3500kg vehicle and is not rated to carry a lot of equipment / luggage at the same line. it has no roof rack or Towbar. On the positive side, you don’t need a D1 to drive it. Should you need to carry equipment as well Please consider borrowing our Scouts Utility Vehicle (It’s a van) 🙂
Wheelchair Ramp
The Minibus has a manual wheelchair ramp and 4 of the rear seats are quick release to make space for the wheelchair. This is not a feature we have used ourselves and ideally would like an opportunity to test this prior to offering this as a core part of the minibus. please contact us if you have any experience in this area and can help?
