Trustee Information Pack
Treasurer
As well as general Trustee volunteers. Holmes Chapel has a specific requirement for a Trustee Treasurer to:
- Look after finances, such as making sure Groups / Districts / Counties are collecting all membership fees and making all payments.
- Share details about income and spend with other Trustees.
- Make sure Gift Aid is being claimed.
- Make sure proper accounts are kept and draw up policies on finance and investment.

Policy, Organisation & Rules
The primary purpose of Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR) is to describe how Scouts is structured, organised, led, managed and governed.
POR applies in all parts of The Scout Association including the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, British Scouting Overseas and the Overseas Territories.
The Model Constitution, specifically set-out in Chapter 5 of the POR, forms the basis of how we run Holmes Chapel Scouts and we vote on adopting this as part of our AGM.
